I was looking around the Arindal forum recently and found out that there is a Bard's Guild in Arindal too. They use the same syntax as CL Bards, but their instruments are named slightly differently. The bagpipe for instance is called DODELMUZAK. I will say that three times fast, Dodelmuzak Dodelmuzak Dodelmuzak. Well I have typed it out here but you can imagine I said it three times fast IRL as well. Here is their Bard area:

I wonder if they have musical instruments crafted if they just get them done, or if the parts have to suck and be rejected too.

I'm still pretty bitter about the judder. I'm visiting Arindal for their bard auditions instead. Hrmf.

Why should I come around when I can't even get an instrument? I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The bard instrument making-situation thing is retarded.

What instrument do you need? I might be able to help...

I bought judder, refined it, and had Hendrux spit on my shoes.

I don't want an upper Bard to 'fix' my problem, I want the system to not suck.

Hendrux just needs a few good threats...

(I wonder how Arindal does it? I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing, though I also wouldn't be surprised if it were different....)

Our instruments have to be crafted by an NPC.
You need to get an item, like a "troolmagen" for a Dodelmuzak/Bagpipe.
You hand it over to that NPC and he makes the instrument for you. You have to wait 1 months (OOC= 1 week) for the NPC before he has made it.
But for Fluote/Bone Flute (and maybe other instruments) the item you have to give (Bone) is examined by the NPC and it's possible he don't want to use it for your Fluote because its quality is too bad. So you have to search a Bone over again and hope it has a better quality.

can you sell bard items? like could I sell the bone flute that's just taking up space in my storage?

Only if you're a Full Bard, I believe. I can't recall, though. Questers might be able to as well, which I'll assume is how you got yours.
