I'll be coming back to assemble one list which will stay posted here.

As you answer them I'll remove them from the list.
I think the promised list that has never been posted has earned a place on the promised list that has never been posted.

He's misunderstood. Complex. Occasionally thought he was a god that thought he always knew what was best. You know, he's a wizard.
...or a GM? ;)

Speaking of wizards and c-programmers.

Over the years, I've found that any scripter/programmer/MUD-GM that seeks the title of godhood, is usually someone with clinical delusions of grandeur. It doesn't matter if they set up a system where they have a title called "God of Tiddlywinks", and have 2000 subscribers. It's still certifiably nuts.

Then again, which is crazier; to be devoted to an unwashed, pale, cud-chewing thing that lives in their parents house at 40 that obsessively tweaks their Diku mud, or to have been that poorly-sexed code monkey?

Those who can't do, criticize.

Is one required to be a chef to know what tastes good?

(just asking. I really have no point either way)

For the record, I'm seeing who would react and how.Would you like crackers with your troll soup? Thanks!

I'm learning C++/XHTML/CSS/Actionscript 3.0/JavaScript(script.aculo.us), tend to gain weight if I'm not careful, and have lived with my parents more often than I care to admit. I got over it, and moved on. Yes, I did meet alot of crazies who ran muds. Matter of fact, I think my GF was one of them.

Really, do you think it's sane, or encourages sanity to show religious devotion to a GM/DM/etc?

edit: hm, the word "was" disappeared between the word think and GF. fixed so it makes sense again.

He wasn't judging on taste and he wasn't even judging the cooking.

He basically said people who do things he can't do live in holes and their mothers dress them funny. I know plenty of programmers and GMs that don't fit that description.

Er, no, read more carefully. My commentary was about people who seek godhood though MMOs.

Enealda wants you to talk to her brother first, who hangs out under Bick's. Good luck getting in there past first circle.
