Classes for November:
November 5th, Saturday, Noon pacific time. Slyph will be moderating a panel of healer ledgerholders: J'nder (Eva), J'jh (Sespus), Mephisto (Higgrus), and Lorikeet (Horus and Respia). This is an excellent opportunity to ask questions from the experts on the value of different kinds of healer training, and afterwards you can sign up to study with one of these teachers. There may also be some lively debate, as even experts disagree!
November 12th, Saturday, Noon pacific time. Slyph will be teaching "Professional Ethics for Healers." There's more to healing than just manipulating a blue stone. Slyph talks about, and then engages us in a discussion on ethical behavior, what we healers -should- or -should not- do in various situations. Nonhealers are also encouraged to attend to gain insight and understanding of a profession that many take for granted.
November 19th, Saturday, 11 am pacific time (8pm Central European time). Tara will be teaching "Self-Rodding and Baking." Normally, we think of a rod as a healer who takes point with the support of other healers. But a few healers can do it alone, and Tara is one of the best of these. Undoubtedly she'll talk about how to train for self-rodding, and what kind of roles and situations where it's useful, and how to do it right. She might even do a demonstration. Also, expect some unusual muffins!
November 20th, Sunday, 12:30 pm pacific time. Omega will teach another "Explorations and Expeditions" class, this time with a field trip to the Drake's Den on Fire Island. Ever wanted to know where those fire drakes took people? Exploring is a different activity from hunting, especially for healers, and Omega will share his insights from his great experience. This field trip will be supported by Hepta (a full mystic is needed for this trip), some members of Winds of Dawn, and others.

Taryn,
From the bottom of my heart, thank you very, very much for your boundless energy and dedication to the University.
You set the performance bar so high we'll have to retire it and get a new one.
