Hello! I just had a quick question regarding the windows client.

I've noticed via the file/edit/option drop-down menus.....

Make Screenshot F9
Find in Text Window F3
Settings F11
Network Stats F12
Show all Windows F5


I use f1-f12 for my healers Cad Slots. I'm not a laptop so I don't really have many options for keys.....I use some of the above-mentioned fkeys on tafari as well but I could change some if necessary....

Will the windows client using these 5 different fkeys affect my Cad Macro? If so..is it possible to disable these clanlord keyboard shortcuts, thus enabling me to use them for Cad Slots?

I think you can change an option somewhere that makes you use the fn key + f1-12 to use it. So the regular f1-12 is free to be used by CL.

Nope. Once you assign a macro to a function-Key the default will be replaced.
For example I have my "equip weapon and charm macro on F11 and my unequip weapon on F12.
F5 is my "unmorph" macro...
Tho i like to keep my F3 and F9 button working as intended

Thanks for your replies. I found what Borzon was referring to in the boot camp control panel (use fkeys as standard function keys) but Talas answer clears things up as well. Cad macro is working fine =)

I didn't make any special changes to function keys and use a laptop- the settings in game seem to be taking over the normal functions of the computer. Only the healer has use of F5-F12 Champ uses the lower keys like F1 = empty hand F2 = Lava cloak..

That’s a lot of cad slots! Maybe I should revise my macro generator to allow an array of cad slots? I could easily write a step through array loop to generate it… Hmmm…
