Tonoto's Maps

I use Tonoto's map of the Marsh all the time (maybe someday I will memorise the Marsh, but not yet!).

Anyways, the regular website http://www.sundragonclan.com/maps/ is no longer functional.

In the "old" marsh, Going South in most snells SE corners lead you to "2-Tree" (The snell that exits to Lower East Field) if you aren't already in 2-Tree. I always get confused as whether Jades or Marsh Hermit is at the NW or N-center going North from 2-Tree because I'm always going both places.

I used to have the marsh memorized, but having no reason to go there very often has led to "memory decay" over the years. Oddly, I still remember the way around TW pretty well (since it's a similar maze) and the Myrm Hive (since it's pretty linear) even though I visit them even less.

EDIT: Tried to grab the archive while I can but either it's being difficult or my network connection has too many youtubers on it... :\.

I grabbed it. That's funny Noivad, I always knew and "taught" that going n in the nw corner went to two-tree as well.

Yeah, I knew that too, but I was talking about going N from 2-Tree. I usually don't take the N exit to 2-Tree because it places you at the South of 2-tree, and the exit is at the North. So, I use the South exit to 2-Tree and just have to oriented myself to see where I landed, turn around and walk out. It's a bit more efficient.

Lorikeet taught me this a long time ago, and I still use it when I get lost in the marsh. : )

If you go north in the NW corner of 2 Tree , you reach Jades.

If you can come up with a mnemonic that I can remember easily for that, Ill give you 200c for your effort. Seriously. "NWJ" or "NCH" would probably be the best to focus on? If only Jades were called alabaster in color I could remember "NWA" easily. :)
