Get the golden clothes sellers back please.

by Borzon » Sun Jul 03, 2011 10:01 am

So here I was today omw to the golden shirt seller and he was like:

Gol Bluze growls.
Gol Bluze says, "Pretty hands slaves steal business."
Gol Bluze says, "Now we not sell better clothes."
Gol Bluze exclaims, "Ig'ha!"

I talked to Maruk Trou and she was all like:

Maruk Trou says, "Well, it seems our services are no longer needed."
Maruk Trou says, "Now that there are cheaper ways to get gold clothing, we're superfluous."
Maruk Trou says, "I hope that those new silk tailors do well for themselves."
Maruk Trou turns away from Borzon with a thin smile.

So now the only way to get gold is to get silk and dye it, which kinda sucks =/

Get the sellers back please?

Yet another example of the GMs changing something that doesn't need to be changed. What is the purpose for this anyway?

How do you get silk pink to gold?

I kinda like the idea that the gold clothes vendors would get fussy about someone taking their business. Seems reasonable that every action in the world have some type of reaction or consequence. <shrug>

At 1 coin per fix with a well-trained tailor, does it matter?

Silk is commonly sold for around 750c each and I believe it's 4.5k to make an item of clothing requiring 3 peices of silk.
