Open Hunt Announcements
Attendance has been low recently, which limits what the group can do. Is there still interest in continuing the Open Hunt? (I am asking people who have attended in the past more or less regularly for any stretch of time. Obviously, people who rarely or never attend are voting no with their feet.)

I'm rarely able to attend because weekends are hard for me, but I think it should continue.

I'd say continue it...
For me it's just that the hunting grounds where you usually go are boring to me...
Some people became really strong and so he demand is more for higher level hunts than for "newbie" hunts i guess...
Maybe you should try some different areas... Rainforest via Deathroots, Ash city, Pitch/Slate Caves, Sarra, Tepui (if there's a viner) etc.

It's a chicken/egg problem. If high level people show up, we can go to high level places. If not, we have to be content with places our group can manage, and that may put off those high level people who do show up. I know that you and I often disagree about what a particular group is capable of, but I try to get input on that from other experienced people too.Talas wrote:I'd say continue it...

The bottom line is that my time is worth something. If this is a temporary lull, then that's fine. If people have written off the Open Hunt, then I will think about opening up my schedule for other things.

I can't attend the next Open Hunt (OOC, Sunday, Dec 23), and I expect that others will be unavailable too, so let's cancel it.
I can make the following one (OOC, Sunday, Dec 30). If you are a regular or semi-regular attendee, please say here whether you plan to be there.
