Sorry if this is old news, but I've been playing Clan Lord quite a long time now and didn't know this! Figured it could help some taggers.

Tip to tell if YOU tagged or not
Often when there are several people trying to tag a monster, if someone tags, it can be very difficult to tell whether the tag was yours or not. However, if you pay close attention to the blood splatter graphic when a monster takes damage, it sort of "travels" directly AWAY from whoever made the tag. If you pay attention to the graphic, you can get used to recognizing whether you created the blood splatter or not.

New to me! I always thought there should be better indicators.

I always thought weapons should have different sounds when hitting, or that when you hit the sound is pitched up a bit or slightly different somehow. I'm pretty sure it is possible to make the player who hit hear a slightly different sound than others.

Or a message in the sidebar in addition to the sound. Almost anything would be better than the nothing we have now.noivad wrote:I always thought weapons should have different sounds when hitting, or that when you hit the sound is pitched up a bit or slightly different somehow. Wasn't the point of the OP that we have *something* as an way to tell? It's tricky to spot the direction when 3 or more are creating splats, but it's not "nothing".Jeanne wrote: Or a message in the sidebar in addition to the sound. Almost anything would be better than the nothing we have now.

The worst is when you are trying to tag, and the creature is engulfed behind someone's text bubble.

There is an option to change bubble opacity under Options/Text Styles, but I'm not sure how well that would work.Guinness wrote:The worst is when you are trying to tag, and the creature is engulfed behind someone's text bubble.
