We have a number of faculty and courses lined up, but it would be great if people would put on their thinkin caps and offer up suggestions as to what kind of class they'd like to attend.

Starting in three weeks the university wont even be an option for me but ideas anyways.

Language classes (Illsandarish) Here's a dictionary http://homepage.mac.com/okasa/clanlords/lexicon.html

Healer tactics (Talk about different styles of healing, training plans, and battle strategies)

Fighter tactics (Talk about different styles of fighting, training plans, and battle strategies)

Achlemy (Talk about all the different potions, the required ingredients, and when to use them)

Um... There is not enogh alchemy stuff to actualy make a class. I'm fairly sure there is list that gives all the infomation you want on that.

Illsandarish is not realy compleat and on top of that few ELFs can even speak it fluantly.

Other two classes would be good.

H'loi, Dru'il Brei!

Hmm... We need a class on philosophy! Just think for the discussions... Does the Goss truly suck. What is the nature of suckage, and at what point has one achieved the state of perfect suckiness?

Seriously though, how about a class on Ettiquette? What is acceptable on a group hunt, when solo hunting (MAN do I HATE poachers). SSing, sitting in TC, listening to bards, being a bard, healing, being healed, etc...

Mystics kindly request you find a different term than suckiness. They have had that patent for years!

Perhaps we could get some guest lectures from them, pay a modest honrarium.

In no particular order...

History - both world and Puddleby

Philosophy - bring you own pipe

Geography - anywhere an exile can travel

Anatomy - creature strengths and weaknesses

I think its a great idea, too many exiles don't know or don't recall puddleby's history and it is an important issue that should be taught.

What about Rhetoric? We need a course on that. I mean, where would we be without it? Without rhetoric, nothing would get done, no one would care or at least be able to vocalize their caring. Would you want to live in a world without rhetoric? A silent world of longing and desire where verbal expression is reduced to grunts & ooks (appologies to Sook). We need more rhetoric, for the good of all.

Um, which FORM of rhetoric? Do you mean the old style rhetoric, where we debate the reason for existance and the principles behind natural law, or do you mean rhetoric as in language and debate, or do you mean rhetoric as in "why did you answer that? It was rhetorical!"

Nice response. Save it for teacher, you wouldn't want the well to run dry before the first class.

Courses about the natural world around us may be nice to have too. That could include things like the flora, wildlife, climate, the various ecosystems around the islands and things like that. Some anthropological classes about the various different cultures may be quite nice to have too.
