Seeing the Slyphonics was among my top favorite experiences in CL. Shame if they're gone forever.

Haven't seen Sliepnir or Forey in quite a while.

The band is gone forever. No one has heard from PWC Forey in ages, and PWC Sleipnir has left Clan Lord.

Coriakin continues to be a driving force in the Puddleby music scene. Slyph continues to entertain as well -- in fact, I saw her doing some table-top dancing at the Golden Butterfly Casino. She was pretty good for someone who was obviously drunk!

That's it, Sareth, you're out! Bad sylvan.
Yes, unfortunately, the Slyphonics caved in under the weight of their (our) own fame. Forey's herpatid-licking problem eventually led to a tragic demise from an overdose, but our herpatid-friendly manager Vagile forced us to cover up the truth (She'll likely come to break my knees for telling you at all). Slyph, of course, was only in it for the money, and jumped ship when the soundstone sales slowed. Sleipnir and I tried to keep the flame alive, but in the end he followed Babajaga into the depths of the library, most likely never to be seen again.
Glorious times they were, though. I've still got copies of a number of the tunes (all but the two (or three?) Forey wrote, I think), and I've been thinking of putting on a revival concert sometime. Not sure if anyone would be interested after all this time, though.
Actually, I've been trying to put another band together for some time, now. For a while, I'd ask a few people about it, they'd say "That's a cool idea!" and in the end neither of us would actually do anything about it.
For the last few puddleyears, though, everytime I try to get someone involved in a band they end up disappearing for a year or four. I started wondering if someone was trying to tell me something.
However! Recently I've found a relatively new bard who's interested in starting a band, and things are actually happening! So if everything works out well, look out for Puddleby's next music sensation coming soon to a stage near you!
.... in a few months.
Maybe.
I've been hoping that other bards might be doing something similar so we could get a good ol' fashioned battle of the bands going, but so far I've been disappointed. I guess that's why I'm the Bard Master... I'm the only one with any organizational skills.
\ponder Maybe *that* will rile them up enough to get them to do something!
