I'd be interested in a subclass panel similar to that a while back. Except, now that the subclasses are much different, and much more is known about them, I think it would be interesting for subclass hopefuls/wannabes to come and listen to a panelist from each subclass list the differences and the best of their own subclass.

For example, the panelists could be one-two persons representing each subclass. I think that Hoggle would do well to represent the ranger panel. Garr and/or Quinix for the Champion panel. And Aldernon and/or Shadrock for the Bloodmage panel.

Any ideas on whether this could be done, or when best to arrange it? Since the University has great classrooms now, it would be neat to get everyone in a large lecture hall.

i would be happy to lead a class on Champions. although i haven't trained in the skills that extensively, i have talked to several others about their training and how they use it.

i would suggest having a class about all the subclasses, and each representative talks for 5 minutes or so, then split into three groups to go into more detail if that's needed. that way a fighter would get all the information they need, and then if they have a good idea of what they're wanting to choose some more time to talk more about it or answer some questions.

I support this wholeheartedly, theres lots of new and (returning) old exiles who could benefit from this. Put up a Koppi add once the time is dettermined.

I'd be willing to take part on the champion side, however, I only have first-hand knowledge about the "waste of time" champion ranks, all that other useful stuff I have to hear about from other people, so if someone with knowledge of the -ites would be willing to participate with me, I'd be all for it.

Maybe do a seminar on specialty weapon first to kick things off?

Some on the newlings got all confused when started talking about blades and rank decay.

I think we could do a quick intro to the subclasses by talking about blade qualification before the rest of the seminar on the subclasses starts. I don't think blade qualification and rank gain/decay would need more than a few minutes of time.

The qualification part is imporant, and more important is how they actualy function. Its worth covering in my opinion.

Corral the teachers and work out a time when folks are around. Let people know a week or so in advance it's going on. Post here and a Koppi or two is helpful. An hour before class, it's a good idea to let folks know again.

You probably want someone to run back and forth to the U if you're using a classroom there.

Sure. I'd be interested in doing speaking about Bloodmages. I talk to Bmage questors all the time.

I still hold my Puddleby University faculty ring, I'd be happy to participate in any bloodmage class/discussions.

As you may, or may not know, the Ranger subclass is currently in flux. There are proposed gossamer tweaks that may change Rangering again, so the stuff taught may not be correct afterwards. I guess it could be given with a disclaimer that there will need to be a follow-up class in the not too distant future.

But yeah, i'm alright with giving the class. As an aside, I need to get a ring again. There was a ring-shortage there for a while so I loaned my back to so that another instructor could have one.

Since Dean Fiona is on sabbatical and as Custodian I have a set of keys, I can work out with individuals a method of replacing Faculty rings.

Since the Lost and Found fund currently has only 23 coins, I'll need folks to pony up for rings if they would like them. The Puddleby Josten's representative is asking 812 coins for rings currently.

Sorry for the state of the U, but I barely have the funds for cleaning supplies at this point.
