It's been down for ages. What happened to Puddleopedia?

I miss it. Now I am clueless of what to do when I want to waste time.

One of the Red Quill was going to take it. I don't know if he put it up or where.

I was pointed to this post by a friend...

I rulez the Puddleopedia now.

My schedule is very hectic; it might be a few weekends before I have the time to make sure it gets up and running. Apologies for delays.

If you have any experience with this and would like to get it up and running before that, please contact me and I'd be happy to allow a trustorthy person to get it up while I'm busy. Send me a PM...or better, email directly wangahrah at gmail dot com.

Working out a few technical details with smrt people, puddleopedia.org should be running "soon".

Things appear to be up and running, thanks for offers from various people, Kani for poking around, and many thanks to Gil for ending up doing most of the grunt work pwc Wangah is to lazy to do getting broked things running.

Wiki is a fancy new version, seems faster to me, and has a shiny new GUI around the editing functions.

The RSS feeds works like so...

Go to the page you want to get RSS updates for.. Then add ?action=rss at the end of the url. For example the Recent Changes Page is like this:

Looks good. There are still some broken images (not that people have uploaded, but in the interface, try clicking Edit). Additionally, formatting broke on some old pages (Check the OWE entry, for instance). That latter bit is unfortunate but not a big problem, since few pages relied much on formatting.

Those broken images should no longer be broken.

A couple of minor things. The font seems to be a lot smaller than it used to be. Also, having the text go the whole width of the screen is hard to read. There should be a fixed width.

The font is a tad different but seems to be the same size... to my eyes anyway.

Honestly how does the text going across a few more inches max it harder to read? If people want it though I will figure out how to fix that.

Is there some reason why Rakshasa's page got dumped? I know it was part of the cause of the initial dustup about the Puddleopedia, but it shouldn't have disappeared. There was a whole history there. So why is it gone?

Ah okay, thanks. It appears that by capitalizing his entry (ahem) he lost the connection from the exile list . I will have to talk to that fella!
