beyond that it's all about where you draw the line. How many game hours should it take a true noob hunting with rank peers to get a sunstone?

I did answer you. It should take as many hours as it would for someone to rank high enough to either group hunt or solo in the forests confidently and earn 500c. Again, I would point out that 500c is a pretty damned low number compared to the usual prices. It's not like it would be some new and brutal cruelty being forced upon players.Cinnamon wrote:Answer me or suffer my wrath!Fogtripper wrote:Cinnamon wrote:k thanks

All of that said, as long as there are exiles willing to dump obscene amounts into giving them away, perhaps the high prices act as a needed coin sink?
(which would harm those who would work to earn the coins on their own to buy one)

You do know nothing unusual was actually done by GMs to reduce the price right?Gloria wrote:Thanks for moving the price back to a reasonable level : )

I assume it was GM activity. Steunora (or whatever her name is) used to consistently charge around 300-400c for a tuning. This suddenly jumped to about 6000c the next time I checked after seeing a price around 300c. Then it lowered somewhat, although I didn't keep track, but still very high. Yesterday it was at about 650c, much more reasonable.

Right. There was (almost certainly) some GM who bumped the price up. However the reduction in price I believe was because of the natural slow decline in Elendil's prices over time. Under normal circumstances, his prices rise and fall depending on how many and how recently sunstones have been bought from him. I beleive Steunora and player mystic costs are somehow tied to this as well.Gloria wrote:I assume it was GM activity. In other words, if you go out and buy 1,000 sunstones, Elendil's prices will go up. If no one buys sunstones from him for a fortnight, his prices will go down.
