Was the grace period shortened recently? As far back as I can remember, it's been 7 days, but now it appears to only be 3 days. ("This account expired on 5/2/2008," it tells me.)

I noticed that too.

Can we get this fixed, Eldon? I renewed my account for two months via e-mail, but it ended up only being a two-day account renewal, and now my account is locked out after a three day grace period.

Wow, that's broken.

I got hit with the 3 day grace as well. Not even a reminder in any way to re-up my payment prior to the boot. Guess it's time for a break.

I don't know of any shortening of the grace period other than it's now easier to track expired accounts and shut them off, so it's happening on time now (well, most of the time it's on time. Heh.)

But, I've inquired of the ServerGM.

Just heard back from ServerGM: it was shortened by accident. It'll be corrected in the next update.
