The Clan Lord Sentinel

I was wandering around the internet today, and found MMOS X: A roundup of MMOs for the Mac. Of course it doesn't list Clan Lord, but the comment about that CL only runs on mac got me to wonder where he got the quote.

So I look at the Clan Lord webpage and click on What is Clan Lord? and find this:

What type of computer do I need to run Clan Lord?

Clan Lord currently only runs on Apple Macintosh computers. The requirements are 32 megs of RAM and system 7.5 or higher. A 100 MHz PowerPC or faster is recommended.

Which is blatantly false. We have several clients: Classic, OS X, Windows and Java. The fact this is not the case is hidden in 10 point arial in the corner of the front page, and no where else. So the pages actively disagree with each other, and are completely out of date with the current state of the Clan Lord client.

The site needs a massive cleaning by someone, a lot of information is out of date, and it's not even clear where exactly to go to buy the game. There's at least three different pages for ordering, one of which 404s:

I love the layout and the formatting of individual, but someone really needs to go through and clean things up.

I was aware. Some helper is working on a complete re-design that'll be done "soon".

Absolutely. The errors in the content of the CL front page are an embarrassment. Fix the errors first and fast, then worry about the look.

Question #1:

What are the requirements for Clan Lord?

I know it'll run on just about any hardware. But is it really OS 8.6 or better? Will the CL client run on OS 10.0?

What about the Windows system requirements? 95? 3.1? 2000?

Question #2:

Umm... where do you enter your serial number once you get it? Or is it only automatic now?

I have an old serial number sitting around for a rainy day, but the page for serial numbers is completely gone:

I'm expecting a mock page on Friday of what the final site will look like. It is being worked on, but if the helper pulls out, I'll definitely take you up on it. At least Ann recently went through and pointed the ordering to the new Account Portal.

Tangentially related: could the account portal be modified to show the name of the account that is currently logged in? I went to put some more time on my sister's account and was unable to verify that I had successfully logged out of my account and into hers.

Sadly, I don't actually have access to the account portal (I just redirect to the real one) so I can't fix that one on my own. <g>
