I am still not sure if I can become a bard... I do love music, but writing is another thing.

Here are a list of "few" questions I have:


I have a "bone" and a "steal pot", what can they be made into?

Is bone the only item you need to make a flute?

Is there a list of what items you need to make which instruments?

A bone flute and a casserole respectively

What is a casserole? is it the steal drum like thing that can play out sounds and not just like drums which have not much change in the sound...

I can only guess since there is no pic of the instrument in mtooth.

I will keep digging I guess..

Yeah, the casserole is like a steel drum, can play the same 3 octaves as every other instrument. The orga drum is the one that only plays a handful.

So every one of them only need 1 item to make?

Correct. The only oddity is that Judder and Tremolite are found as "ore", and must be successfully refined before being taken to Hendrux, although there are no additional items needed.

Didn't Coriakin have a site that listed all of the raw materials and what instrument they made? I seem to recall that this information included support for chords, total number of notes/chord and the range of octaves for the instrument (I could be making that last bit up).

He does. I had thought his scroll was long lost, but it seems to have moved here with instrument part information under "Rumours." Of course, that is very old information and lists the Vibra and Tuborn as being uncraftable.

Instrument chord sizes are listed under "Tricks" at the far bottom of the page.

As a innocent bystander waiting to post spoilers to the Puddleopedia, I should warn you that this is a slippery slope.

As someone interested in Bard information getting the most traffic possible, I am more interested in putting up information here on the Sentinel.

Not that it would hurt to have it elsewhere, too, but one thing at a time, eh?

The CLUMP would be an excellent place to post this info. If someone would like to write up a page about bards and all their neat stuff (like what instument makes what), I'd be happy to host it. If you make an account to post it yourself, you have to wait 4 days until you can edit/add pages. Just use your CL character name and I'll know to not ban you (thinking that you're a spammer). This offer is open to all bards.

I'll just put the information on the Puddleopedia myself then, since this requires no one else to tread that slippery slope and avoids falling into the category of, "Sounds good, let's have someone else do it."
