Sounds like a good idea. If you can figure out how to get it there without taking it through KI waters (which magically repel it) or the ethereal plane (which is also resistant to it), by all means put it on Kizmia's Island to help out!

Considering that you asked if the portal could be moved to KI, and Kani mildly snarked that no, it could not in fact be moved to KI, I'd consider that a helpful pair of posts, answering your questions.

I would suppose so, although it was news to me that it couldn't be moved to the ethereal plane. You might have to speak with whoever tested that. (Even if you did, I wouldn't be surprised if the "repelling" wasn't limited to KI ocean itself, but rather the whole of KI.)

That's right. At least, I found that to be the case when the portal initially was unable to enter Kizmia's Island waters directly (the changes were concurrent). I haven't tested it recently, but I would presume it is still the case.

The irony here is it's now highly doubtful that KI has anything to fear from the portal. Both portals seem firmly entrenched where they are. Temporary moves (for incursions and Stronghold raids) are tolerated but permanent moves to other locations seem extremely unlikely.

So maybe it's time to lift the ban for the sake of the KI rift? Perhaps that incursion will be defeated this time making it a moot point but if it isn't how about it? At least temporarily until that incursion is defeated.

Once defeated, KI will have a built-in non-traditional way on and off, making it even less practical to move a portal there than it already is.
