Add grey and white hair dyes to the salon.

(Status 4/2/03 -- These have long been reserved for town elders. Will consider implementing them, though.)

How about allowing grey/white hair only to older exiles?
Like some kind of reward for staying around that long. 8)

Who's to say that everyone who comes to the lands is young? and/or didn't have some freak accident happen to them that made them have grey or white hair?

I think both white and grey should be available to ALL exiles.

yes, alot of people will get the white or grey hair when it is first available, but then it's awe will wear off, and most will go back to another color.

still say everyone should be able to have these colors.

Id like white hair, if they do only give it to the elders what do you think qualifies you as an elder? taintless clothing (you already have that what more do you need) or just everybody who has an account at that point so FotB exiles who came in just before the end could get it too?

I do not know if it is so much wanting to be an elder. I just actually like gray hair.

I dye my own that color

IC I was born with white hair, when I was exiled it was discolored and I've yet to get the discoloring out(all of the water seems to come from dirty puddles). When white hair is available, I wont be becoming an elder, I'd be finally cleaning my hair properly

White hair with a nice light blue or grey shaddows could be platinum blond. It's a very very rare hair color, though, and may be a good idea to keep for NPCs or special RP rewards, etc. Just a thought.

Some colors, and some things that could be colored, are reserved for special uses and places. The world is still growing, and we want to make sure new places have cool things in them, too.

This might just be me, but when I think of something in game thats new and cool, I'm not exatly thinking of a Sylvan with white hair, or an old halfling hobbling through town with grey hair. Sure these are nice little things to see on a GM controled character, but the coolness comes from the setting and the way the character is RPed, not what hair color some character has.
