Ok, is there anyway a GM can give us a little clue to this. It's been in 4 years perhaps more, we offered 25k reward and no-one could figure out a skiens use. We tried everything we could think of.

Surely its worth just a little hint or clue to this, it seems such a waste of time otherwise.

We know the use is in as the last GM contact said "its all there i hope they aren't too disappointed".

Please give us a clue, what do i have to do to get a clue

(Was just going through dead ends for no reason - ie, procrastination - and remembered this.)

No-one figured it out. Even with the enormous reward we offered!

We never got a clue either

All i heard was the GM said it's all in and working as intended, he hoped we weren't to disappointed with it's use. (so it wasn't web shoes )

1. It's something so useless we don't really care what it's for.
2. It's something so obtuse that one would have to be the GM who conceived it to figure it out.
3. It's nothing. It was always nothing. It was intended to be nothing. It's working as intended.

The real answer...it's bad design.

As for a hint. Yeah, we need a little GM help on this one. We have no clue where to even begin.

My guess is it's some random npc in a little safe cave somewhere in the foothills or in OOB or something like that and that's the reason it's never been found. I highly doubt it's some big GM secret as to us exiles shouting to the moon at midnight of the full moon during pig zodiac or something like the Gaia quest whatever that involves.

I really wish it would have something to do with web shoes. I know, I know, that was a Zynx suggestion, but I absolutely DESPISE having to trudge through those stupid webs!

I get the feeling from the message we got sent it's not anything we'd get excited about. Still it would be nice to know!

I am sure you checked... but silk always makes me think of parachutes....

Probably something lame, like when you equip it your clothes wear 1% less. :/
