Hiya.

So somethin' weird happened today, and before Wangah starts spreading his version, I kinda feel like I need get to tellin' folks what really happened.

It all started earlier today - I was sittin' in TC, resting up after a walk through purgatory, when Wangah Rah sunstoned me. We 'chatted', and eventually he convinced me to come to the badlands - he said he was doing an experiment, and he needed to be fallen. And of course, the idea of knockin' Wangah down sounded like great fun to me! Plus, a Mystic at the badlands - what did I have to fear, right?

So we went way south into the badlands, and then into a tunnel below one of the bases, and then came up and went through the woods... I don't know the badlands very well, I was kinda lost. But finally he stops, and tells me to go ahead an' kill him.

So I did. One hit. Good times!

Then the trouble started - he twitched and moaned just like an exile does around the Feast of Tsirrin, only really quick-like. And then he stood up, lookin' for all the world like a greater wraith! Except he musta been stronger than most wraiths, because he ran me down and felled me with no trouble at all.

Then he stopped for a second, and suddenly an ethereal portal opened. Except he wasn't holdin' a portal stone, and it opened too far away from him, on the other side of my body.

Then more weird stuff - he reached down, touched a finger to my sungem, and somehow used it to sunstone stuff so it looked like I was sayin' it! He sunstoned something weird about me wantin' to trade him to the Brions or somethin'... Said something about a 'darkstone' in there too, whatever that is. I didn't really follow.

Then he hooked a chain under my belt, and ran into the portal, draggin' me behind! He ran around the EP for quite some time... the critters there just ignored him, though. I guess they thought he really was a wraith. Heck, maybe he was, I dunno.

We ran for ages - I dunno where we were goin', that place is a mystery to me when I don't have a map ready - until finally he started glowing red. He stopped for a second, and then he started really running - I guess he knew whatever was making him a wraith was wearing off. Finally he just froze in place, and a cluster of purple flame appeared around him, and suddenly he was just a fallen Sylvan in a cloak.

We chatted for a bit - he wouldn't tell me what he was doing or why he was (literally!) draggin' me into it. He didn't seem very happy though.

He told me that we were in the third sphere, and would be an easy rescue, and he told me he was going to blame me for all of this - say that I killed him and chained him in. Like I could survive for more than a few seconds in the EP alone! Then there were people sunstone about quakes in town, and ethereal critters in purgatory, and finally somehow sunstoned that the planes were shifting, and someone else said that we were fallen in the sixth sphere.

I still didn't want to depart, 'cause I know that's not good for the planes and all. He didn't depart either - maybe he's really concerned about planar warming too, or maybe he's like Teenybrain now, and he can't. When I mentioned Teenybrain, he kinda let slip that he had been trying for Teenybrain in the eighth sphere, and that he had made a wrong turn. I guess he was going to save the Brion and leave me there in his place. I don't know why - maybe there needs to be someone to trade for him for some mystical reason, or maybe he just didn't want any witness.

I kept pestering him for more info - I can be really annoying when I want to, ya know - but he kept ignorin' me. Finally I started singin' ten zillion bottles of beer on the wall... and of course, I don't know what a zillion less one is, so I just kept roundin' up to a zillion.

He growled, glowed blue for a sec, and then I found myself standin' in purgatory.

Obviously, Skirwan's story is full of ridiculous, impossible claims. I put before you the true story.

As I innocently minded my own business in town, marveling at the strangely large number of Zo present, Skirwan sunstoned me to follow him, and promised me a Darkstone shard. This of course harmless shard helps me serve the good of all exiles in getting to the Darshak's inner sanctum, where we tend to slaughter their high priests. For the good of exiles exiles...this is certainly what use the stone is put to. Goodness knows I've never done wrong in the eyes of our good town!

Skirwan led me to the Bandlands, through some tunnels, then turned and struck me down. He himself announced he was holding myself and the darkstone hostage. He opened a portal to the ethereal plane, and ran to the sixth sphere before he too fell.

At this point, the "Zo" revealed his true nature. He is, in fact, clearly barely a Zo, and no longer Skirwan at all. He is, actually a sort of parasitic creature, who uses the bodies of others as hosts, even dead bodies. This is the same creature who possessed Polgara in her bombing of the Nox chapterhouse, and the same who possessed Fanan in the dark bubbling/dew incidents. I present the following records:

http://gamesource.groups.yahoo.com/grou ... message/59
http://www.red-quill.org/babajaga/diary ... 1.html#nox
http://www.red-quill.org/babajaga/diary ... ml#skirwan

Skirwan was murdered by Aldernon. His own sister reported his death. Then, Skirwan reappears, and we look the other way, so happy to see him again! I tell you, this creature revealed his desire to cause the planes to collapse, in hopes it might allow him to find his way out of our material plane back to his own.

Do not be fooled by this zo's apparent good nature and care for the state of the planes! The creature wants nothing more then to cause a merging of the planes, no matter what the cost. It is crafty and shrewd, and will tell lies to no end to lull you into a sense of security.

I suggest driving this creature from our town.

I am not prone to believe Wangah .. He has done nothing to inspire my trust, but honestly has acted in ways that leave many questions in my mind.

Our clan long ago would have noticed if Skirwan were acting out of the ordinary.. There are many rituals and items that DM would have noticed missing if Skirwan were not himself.

Secondly .. A report of here-say is not an accurate record of anything.. Babajaga reports that someone reports.. is the only mention of Skirwan.. the rest is just a bunch of rambles you have inserted to justify your actions...

Thirdly.. we are expected to just believe you have our best interests at heart.. considering that whenever you leave the library, some ethereal madness ensues.. or some other oddity.. I myself have witnessed enough of your actions to have my doubts about your voracity.

I have no idea what you have to gain from all of this, but I have no doubt it is nefarious at best...

In the end what shall we learn? That wangah has been under the influence of this darkstone and bringing about the end of our worlds? All the while distracting us with wild accusations about Skirwan..

I for one will not be buying whatever you sell.

Even before obtaining the darkstone, Wangah has had powers the rest of us lack -- has anyone else ever managed to summon hordes of creatures to town at a whim? His interest in -- and facility with -- the ethereal plane is likewise well-documented; when has there been an ethereal invasion without Wangah's presence? And since obtaining this 'Darkstone', his strange powers have only grown stronger and stranger -- I know I am not the only one to witness Wangah Rah raising fellow exiles as undine.

Which is more likely -- that I am some sort of body-hopping undead monster, or that Wangah -- paragon of unexplained powers -- has learned a few more 'impossible' tricks?

Time for some documentary evidence. I'm sure that Skirwan, were he being chained by a wraith like creature, would be exactly the sort of zo to take a picture of it. Particularly if it went on for a fair while.

So let's see the visionstone.

I don't know anything about a parasitic creature.. if he would have said sarcastic creature i woulda been all "Hey! Wangah might be right!

I too have felt one of those feast of tsrrin "chills" that ran down my spine while I was fallen in the presence of Wangah when I was on Ash not too long ago.. Many have noticed the constant peppering of the word "yi" into Wangahs lexicon lately. I'm starting to suspect maybe Wangah actually has oneof these parasite things..

Hrmm... I must go to Iceton to consult the local oracle..They call her The Icicle!

Lets not forget, a loooong time ago i think we found Skirwan on Ti with his brain missing. He then vanished from the lands for a while and re-appeared.

He seems like the normal Skirwan to me, although im drunk alot. Wagnah also plays alot with things that seems mighty powerful so its a tough situation to work out without witnesses.
