If you're totally turning your back, it's not a bad way to go. People are still talking about him. He'd be forgotten if he just left quietly. Is it far better to be talked about than not?

The Sentinel has a necromancer who likes to resurrect topics that have been dead for years. So we are "still" talking about a lot of things, though after a long lapse of not talking about them.
