Move Sarir for armour deal closer to town

by Fundin » Fri Apr 22, 2005 12:24 pm

Following up from here im seeing if people would donate more money if the Sarir of Malabrions for the armour deal was in town centre (or boundries).

Basically i know its not to hard to get the sarir now, if you know the people with keys, or can run the gauntlet. I just feel if hes in town then ALOT more people will donate coins, 50c here, 100c there, if you made a good amount of coin on a hunt then on your way to bank you might drop off some.

I know myself id be 100% more likely to give my coins up if the Sarir was in town, instead they go into my bank account, waiting for the time i can be bothered to find a key holder to take me.

Also if you dont clan too often its very hard to find the right people, and not everyone wants to give money to others to donate they want to do it themselves.

Anyway, thats my feelings, i guess this poll might see if other feel the same way. :)

I gennerally gives tha muny ta Talin since I knows she's collectin and be easier ta find than a Sarir. Most o OWE be collectin. Thinks SDC be too. It aint hard ta find an OWE or SDC member.

True but then if he was in town you wouldnt have to find anyone you could do it yourself. Also exiles who want to donate themselves and see it happen can do so also.

As it happens i now have a pass key loaned to me, but still its not easy for many others. But im happy to open doors for those who need me to.

I like the way it is now, as it encourages teamwork/inter-exile cooperation. Admittedly, I have a key, but if it were in some other location that required a team (and not a key) I would still prefer that to it being in town.

Clan Lord is all about interaction with other players.
Edit: I, also, would be pleased to open the door for donaters.

Xepel, I know that you're trying to get these threads to the closed suggestions forum, but this is the wrong way to do it, IMO. You are spamming by bumping ancient topics so that they compete with current topics.

You can start a new topic and put links to all the threads you want to move.

Amen.
Those of us who read the forums by use of "View new posts" are having these all show up in the search now.

They're not competing unless you think that people can't look one more inch down on the suggestion box page (for an hour or two before a GM notices and moves them to the closed box).

Though starting a new thread to close old threads is not that bad of an idea.
