Had an idea for Bloodmages-
An attack that would drain Histia from the Beastie and add it to the Bloodmage in one powerful blow. So that the attack would effectively drain as much health from the beastie as nessicary to bring the Bloodmage to full health.
The attack is a trained attack - with greater training the effeciency of the attack is decreesed- so a minimally trained attack would heal the Bloodmage to full at a 5:1 heal to drain ratio, while a ledger-level Bloodmage would have a 1:1 ratio.
The advantage is a powerful attack, especially against high troilusing critters. The disadvantage is that the Bloodmage is no longer on red and can not use his powers without first loosing health again.
The power of the attack would easily be the strongest blow possible in the game, limited only by the Bloodmage's health remaining to full, and the efficency ratio of his training.

I rather like this idea. Makes room for solo bloodbladers. (yes, they are out there)
Those bladers with some actual fighting power would find this especially useful.

So, if a bloodmage were to get killed while delivering this blow -- would s/he still recover the health, and possibly "burst" themselves from dead to full health?

I've often thought Bloodbladers should have some sort of vampiric aspect. They meet so many parts of the image anyway. And I like the way you point out that sucking life could actually disadvantage a BBer by reducing his power until he can get back down to red...

I think that a cooler power for the bloodmage is to shoot concentrated streams of blood from their eyes -- kinda like a laser, except with blood! OMG where do I sign up for these kids of inovated, awesome abilities!
