From what I can see, the preference file is being modified when I change the settings but is not being read by the client. I tried using xattr as Jazz suggests but I'm not sure that's the issue I'm having. Deleting the preference file didn't help.

Now that I've finally gotten the CL client working at home as I mentioned earlier and Ruuk is also having this issue... you cannot change certain preferences like night level and MOST ANNOYINGLY can't change over to "click toggles".

Console shows no messages on Mac OS X when trying to switch stuff. Any GM know if anyone is working on a fix for this? I've tried making the CL Prefs file (and the whole directory) world writeable, but that didn't help.

Well... there is one console message about every 5 minutes, but it's not me doing anything with trying to set preferences:

I can change some preferences - like the sound volume. But changing the night level does nothing (and it resets back to the previous value)

Do you think that might be related to the problem this version with the text? I know if I reset it the way I want it, it just disappars the next time I open it, so I have stopped doing it. But if I don't catch a sunstone message and need to find it in the text log, it's light green, in italics and underlined, and I can't really read it well.
