Hi. Seems what's left of the world of fighters are mostly Rangers and most of those are currently morph crazed. I'm curious about morphs and only have GCP & Lava Walker from years ago. Bleh (though GCP has some fun advantages).

What I'm really interested in is a Troilus morph for my specific training. Aside from the controversy I've read about this type of morph, I'd love opinions please.

I have just shy of 300 Troilus (2/3rds of that from Bangus Anmash) and just shy of 550 Histia at this point. Thinking that beetle, banshee, kitten, recluse etc. are too low histia to work for me, but maybe I'm not understanding how this works??? Someone suggested like the high histia Ko'Kin? Any others that aren't uber-rare? I'd like to be able to troilus to high green/white after switching back to exile mode if possible.

What are you other stats? Do you have any idea what the strongest thing you slaughter is?

I'm really mainly interested in a self-heal morph as I have like 650-699 Atkus (almost to 700 I believe), 650-699 Darkus... like 100-150 Detha (all from Evus), 1250-1499 Balthus, 1000-1249 Regia etc. Ledgers in Evus, Swengus and Bangus.

On recent forays into the eastern mountains/estuary etc... my first time in this area... I "killing" most stuff there. I "killed" some Dredlocks and Hates lately.

With base stats like those, I would suggest you look at Sky Bison, though you may have to wait a bit in between when you finish getting the befriend and when you can start the morph. It's a common enough creature that it shouldn't take too long if you are interested in it.

Okay cool, thanks again Leinis... I'll look into Sky Bison. My "spirit animal" in 8th grade drama was a Water Buffalo... so... that fits. Haha.

If you don't already you should apply for access to the Ranger subforum here (User Control Panel -> User Groups). There is a lot of information posted on morphs, Troilus, etc etc that you might find helpful.

As Leinis said, Sky Bison would probably be the best and easiest option for you as long as you can make one of the daily hunts that go there. Sky Bison are basically Kitten 2.0 and as long as you can qualify for them, there isn't a lot of downsides to getting and using one.
