What do others think about the idea of a second chance at the circle test if it's a double KO?

I've been in the following situation quite a few times, but today I was in the zone and almost passed a level that somebody with my level of ranks has no right to pass:
Cerberal says, "Most who passed were stronger than you."
You equip your bloodblade.
•You feel a surge of power as your blood pours down the blade.
* You cannot absorb creatures here.
You vanquished a Captured Banshee.
You vanquished a Captured Blood Wyrm.
Using /SHARE to create a spirit link to another exile may improve your chances of rescue. If you have given up all hope, use /DEPART.
You vanquished a Captured Lava Beetle.
• Your blood pours lifelessly from your body.
Sonny Bill has fallen to a Captured Lava Beetle.
Honor yells, "Regrettably, Sonny Bill, you have failed."
Honor yells, "Try again when you are a little stronger or wiser."
Technically I killed the Lava Beetle before it killed me (not sure how that happens but it can happen). When this kid of thing happens, it's usually because I'm in the zone. Having to wait another week can be painful because I 'passed' the test but it didn't count (due to the monster being able to attack after I've already killed it).

Next week I'll have lost my mojo and it could be some months before I find myself in this position again. I think it would be great if double KO's either counted as a 'victory' or counted as a 'no result' (allowing one to attempt the test again right away).

I realise this is a bit cheeky coming from a BM (because our 'last gasp' hits are ridiculously strong). However, I think it would be more fair than the current system where you can kill all the enemies and still fail.

Your quote is leaving out an important line:

"Honor says, 'Kill them all and live to pass the test.'"

If the circle tests are supposed to measure your relative strength, and you're out in the world solo, there's a pretty big difference between killing everything and living and killing everything but dying.

As to the suggestion of changing the passing requirement of tests... I don't really care if they're changed because circle tests (past 3rd and 4th) are basically meaningless. I'm not sure the GMs will want to spend their limited "GM time" on this kind of change though.

No, wait a week like everyone else.

Nah. If that is the complete log, your attempt needs mo debuff and hemo use. hamstring + hemo = win all tests.

Win ALL TESTS.

You got this dude. Be a hitter babe.

This is dumb. I passed 8th on my BM with half as many ranks as my ranger still struggling on the test. Wait until you get lucky since it doesn't matter anyway and provides no benefit or detriment aside from bragging rights.

Yeah, Icy is right. Circles after 4 don’t actually grant you anything other than the belt & title. Luck has a lot to do with the tests—like life: you have to be prepared & lucky.

Pretty sure they killed hamstring's effectiveness in tests. Hemo is still a win button though.

When did this take place?? Had to be in the past 8 months or so. This breaks my heart. I have always noticed GM's changing things in the name of "fairness". But to change debuffs in tests that don't even matter...I feel like they want us to leave. pretty petty.

Edit. Just tested with Asmo, Hemo is the only thing that works.

I feel the only right thing to do is give up Asmodean's eighth circle badge. I thought I earned it. Guess I was wrong....GM's please remove my 8th badge. If this is how you feel then remove it please.

Hemo still works. Inferno still works. Shieldstones still work.

Doesn't really help with luck whiffs mate (I wish I had enough BB that I could untrain a heap, have 600-700 histia and still hit current level content).

FWIW I've got ~400 histia and am currently training rodnus. This is something you might have been aware of if you'd been online at the same time as me within the last 8-12 months. I don't get why you're so bitter - we don't even hunt together, so my training is of no concern to you!
