I've been in the following situation quite a few times, but today I was in the zone and almost passed a level that somebody with my level of ranks has no right to pass:
Technically I killed the Lava Beetle before it killed me (not sure how that happens but it can happen). When this kid of thing happens, it's usually because I'm in the zone. Having to wait another week can be painful because I 'passed' the test but it didn't count (due to the monster being able to attack after I've already killed it).Cerberal says, "Most who passed were stronger than you."
You equip your bloodblade.
•You feel a surge of power as your blood pours down the blade.
* You cannot absorb creatures here.
You vanquished a Captured Banshee.
You vanquished a Captured Blood Wyrm.
Using /SHARE to create a spirit link to another exile may improve your chances of rescue. If you have given up all hope, use /DEPART.
You vanquished a Captured Lava Beetle.
• Your blood pours lifelessly from your body.
Sonny Bill has fallen to a Captured Lava Beetle.
Honor yells, "Regrettably, Sonny Bill, you have failed."
Honor yells, "Try again when you are a little stronger or wiser."
Next week I'll have lost my mojo and it could be some months before I find myself in this position again. I think it would be great if double KO's either counted as a 'victory' or counted as a 'no result' (allowing one to attempt the test again right away).
I realise this is a bit cheeky coming from a BM (because our 'last gasp' hits are ridiculously strong). However, I think it would be more fair than the current system where you can kill all the enemies and still fail.
