Auto update is broken for me...

also new client download did not work...
Any solution for this?

Task Manager says client-v939-215-11-24.1.dll is running... with 108 K RAM usage...
and the process cannot be suspended.

(Win client if that was not clear)

Did you try redownloading the whole thing? I'm not sure anyone would look in the FAQ & Newbie Guide forum. You might have better luck in the OOC forum.

I'm also having this problem.

I re-downloaded everything and was able to successfully log in a time or two, but then it goes back to hanging. I launch the client, get a spinny icon, then nothing and have to go into the task manager to quit the app.

Windows 8.1 if that helps at all.

I found this solution for me:
I had an exception rule for the Clanlord directory since it bugged me on every update.
Somehow this exception rule was deleted (maybe a upgrade of the avast engine cleared it).
Quick fix was to deactivate Avast.
In the second instance - when it was confirmed that this was the problem a re-creation of that exception did the job for me.

If you run Avast this might be your problem too, Tater?

Yep, it had something to do with Avast. I ran a manual update and CL's launching fine for me now.
