If you are looking for someone, please indicate a method of contact for you (for case 2 below) i.e. “ask them to message me here” or “ask them to email/IM me” etc.
If anyone sees, knows their likely whereabouts or has a way to contact them, please follow this procedure:
Contact the missing person to see if they wish to be “found”:
(1)if the person “does not want to be contacted”: do not post info nor inform the searcher to avoid being pressed for info
(2)if “okay to contact in private”: ask them to contact the searcher.
(3) if okay to contact for all “anyone can contact me”: you can post this info they give okay to the PPD through this channel.
