We had a big GM meeting at AnnGM's house, deciding the future of the game. Most every active and semi-active GM was there -- a couple via iChat AV.
We decided:
Joe (that's me!) will start managing and cheerleading the game a certain amount again.
The population of the world is perilously low. We'll do what it takes to ramp it back up to a social level.
The Arindal Java client is promising, and will be converted to Clan Lord use, so Windows and Linux folks can play.
We'll create a tiered system of free play options, better than the current Agratis character system.
We'll revise the billing system so it works much, much better. Somehow.
We'll improve the CL web pages.
We'll smooth out all the barriers to entry that prevent new players from joining.
We'll add several new circle tests for Healers and Fighters.
We'll work to distribute (ostensibly worthless) company stock to CL GMs and boons as a thank you for their tireless efforts.
Exciting, eh? Things I'm interested in:
Java Client, woo!
Circle tests, hrm.
Tiered system of free play options? Like what?
I'm glad to see that their first priority is to gain more players.
Welcome back Joe, we missed you! :)
