Seems like a pretty simple feature to add. Fighter/Healer 8th test high scores based on time, Repetta would be OK. Maybe separate Fighter high score list for speed/no damage taken.

It's my goal to beat it with 2 good inferno shots and under 10 seconds. Will need a luck wiff, a good setup, and to start on 0 pixels probably though. :?

I'm not opposed to the idea, but why not start a thread/webpage and maintain separate Top 10 (or more) lists according to whatever criteria and details you prefer?

Fastest completion, fastest & no damage taken, fastest BB/BM, Champ, Ranger, Vanilla, etc.

Just require players to post their Movie file and go from there.

I like your idea because it's more likely to happen and could be more flixible. I could probably host the server on one of my headless machines if people are interested. There would need to be some form of moderation/adjudication (and I'm probably not well placed to do that... somebody more familiar with the circle tests maybe, or a panel?)

A notable mentions section could be cool too. This could, for example, include people who aren't the best in terms of stats/clicking but still find a way of passing the test using unconventional means.

IMO the video idea is great though because people can watch and learn/enjoy.

5/6/15 12:27:11a Honor says, "...and you're not likely to learn much from the fight."
5/6/15 12:27:19a You slaughtered a Captured Darshak Raider.
5/6/15 12:27:21a You slaughtered a Captured Malachite Arachnoid.
5/6/15 12:27:25a You slaughtered a Captured Ice Greymyr.
5/6/15 12:27:32a You slaughtered a Captured Recluse Arachne.
5/6/15 12:27:33a Honor yells, "Congratulations, Naferu, you have passed!"

The time stamps from Honor make a good marker....so 22 seconds?

From Kalian's video (which didn't hear Honor start):

5/12/15 3:17:32p You slaughtered a Captured Darshak Raider.
5/12/15 3:17:33p You slaughtered a Captured Malachite Arachnoid.
5/12/15 3:17:34p You slaughtered a Captured Ice Greymyr.
5/12/15 3:17:35p You slaughtered a Captured Recluse Arachne.
5/12/15 3:17:35p Honor yells, "Congratulations, Kalian, you have passed!"

Oh yeah, I also watched it in maximum fast forward speed.

My first time just now, 41 seconds. Probably could do it faster, but:

5/12/15 3:23:30p Honor says, "...and you're not likely to learn much from the fight."
5/12/15 3:23:42p You slaughtered a Captured Darshak Raider.
5/12/15 3:23:48p You slaughtered a Captured Malachite Arachnoid.
5/12/15 3:23:59p You slaughtered a Captured Ice Greymyr.
5/12/15 3:24:10p You slaughtered a Captured Recluse Arachne.
5/12/15 3:24:11p Honor yells, "Congratulations, Sala Dragon, you have passed!"

Second time, 29 seconds, and probably pretty close to my max speed:

5/13/15 6:30:46p Honor says, "...and you're not likely to learn much from the fight."
5/13/15 6:30:54p You slaughtered a Captured Ice Greymyr.
5/13/15 6:31:00p You slaughtered a Captured Malachite Arachnoid.
5/13/15 6:31:05p You slaughtered a Captured Darshak Raider.
5/13/15 6:31:14p You slaughtered a Captured Recluse Arachne.
5/13/15 6:31:15p Honor yells, "Congratulations, Sala Dragon, you have passed!"

If one option were for “biggest comeback” or “lowest experience level that passed” I’d vote yes, since those are metrics of survival in the face of bad odds. I’m not sure what effective ranks most people had when they passed 8th, but I remember Honor said that most that passed were stronger than my character, and kept saying that long after I passed.

Cause I was bored:
5/12/15 8:17:35a Honor says, "...and you're not likely to learn much from the fight."
5/12/15 8:17:44a You slaughtered a Captured Ice Greymyr.
5/12/15 8:17:55a You slaughtered a Captured Darshak Raider.
5/12/15 8:17:58a You slaughtered a Captured Malachite Arachnoid.
5/12/15 8:18:08a You slaughtered a Captured Recluse Arachne.
5/12/15 8:18:09a Honor yells, "Congratulations, Winkey, you have passed!"
So 34 seconds.

For what it's worth, Wink has ~220 Goss, 2 noid studies, 1 myr study, 1 arachne study, and 0 darshak studies so that's much closer to a core rank time than a uber ranger time.

For my BBer (~950 BB)

5/16/15 12:56:20p Honor says, "...and you're not likely to learn much from the fight."
5/16/15 12:56:29p You slaughtered a Captured Ice Greymyr.
5/16/15 12:56:32p You slaughtered a Captured Malachite Arachnoid.
5/16/15 12:56:42p You slaughtered a Captured Darshak Raider.
5/16/15 12:56:46p You slaughtered a Captured Recluse Arachne.

Tried a few times, got it to 26 seconds... but not quite enough Darkus to one-hit everything though. Could maybe get it down to 18 seconds? Varies a lot depending on if the recluse and ice greymyr are one-hit kills. The raider almost never is.

11/7/16 11:00:19p You slaughtered a Captured Malachite Arachnoid.
11/7/16 11:00:24p You slaughtered a Captured Ice Greymyr.
11/7/16 11:00:26p You slaughtered a Captured Recluse Arachne.
11/7/16 11:00:27p Honor yells, "Congratulations, Naferu, you have passed!"

18 seconds

Just putting it out there... this would be a more consistent and inclusive process if the game had 'challenge mode'. In 'challenge mode' you select a Ranger, Champion or BB with fixed stats (everybody uses the exact same character). You don't do the circle tests, you do an infinite number of tests all on one bar of health. With each test the enemies get tougher (e.g. you start with 4 rats... then 4 vermine... then 4 large vermine...etc).

Have a high score for each subclass so that people are encouraged to test their clicking skills across a range of subclasses. Your 'score' would simply be the level you have reached.

Not saying this is a solution to any current issues with the game, but I think it could provide something to do when nobody else is online. Also, it would provide what I think is important... an objective measure of how good somebody's clicking skills are (rather than a measure of how long somebody has been playing).
